About Me

My name is Kevin, and I'm a missionary, blogger, gym rat, and former supplement addict.  I'm also the author/creator of StrongandFit.net

As you can see, I'm not a professional bodybuilder--I don't really want to be.  As the name of the website implies, I just want to be strong, lean and healthy.  I'm also not a doctor, pharmacist, or medical expert.

But I have been lifting weights for over 20 years.   I've  trained a few beginners to help them learn the basics of weightlifting.  That's kind of how this website got started--I figured I'd write some of the stuff that I tell beginners.

I also got sick of all the scams in the fitness industry: from infomercials to the rotten bodybuilding supplement industry.  Some of this website's content is dedicated to exposing such scams and saving your hard-earned money.

Taken after I dropped some body fat
I've recently gone through a fat loss transformation of my own and you can check out my Transformation E-Report for more details.

Disclosure Policy

Sometimes this blog makes money for me.  Other times I go weeks without any profit.  It's fine with me because I have a clear conscience about what I promote and I love to talk about lifting weights.

Speaking of promotion:  I primarily promote diet and training programs on this blog.  Some people will waste spend 100-200 bucks on supplements every month but will not invest in a program to learn how to train.  This is completely backwards!   Here's something I've learned after 20 years of training and a lot of wasted money: most "bodybuilding supplements" are crap (there are a few exceptions, but not many).  You can learn this the easy way or the expensive way.  Your life, your body, your money, your choice.

Anyway, I have three types of ads on this blog:

1. Affiliate Ads
Affiliate ads (such as the Truth About Abs, Muscle Gaining Secrets, Anabolic Again, Lyle McDonald Books, etc) are products which I personally use and/or recommend.  I do thorough research to ensure I only endorse legitimate products/programs.  I regularly turn down affiliate offers because I refuse to promote products I don't believe in.

2. Google adsense
Sometimes I run google ads on my blog.  A google ad does not equate to a personal endorsement on my part.

3. Banner Ads
Banner exchange programs (the 125x125 ads) help me to promote this website.  I try to monitor who advertises on strongandfit.net through banner exchanges.  Having said that, I am not responsible for the content of other people's websites.
