An honest review of the Lean Hybrid Muscle program.
In case you are new to
Strongandfit.net, I’ll tell you my simple philosophy: if something is good I promote it; if something is a waste of money I’ll expose it (I do a lot more “exposing” than “promoting”). There are only a handful of nutrition/training programs I’m willing to promote here—a clear conscience is worth more to me than any amount of money I could make with supplement scams.
So here’s my honest opinion:
after reviewing Lean Hybrid Muscle, I think it is a good program and a good investment.
I’ll highlight a few of the things you get when you order the full
Accelerated Success System package (this is not everything you get, just a few of my favorites):
The Lean Hybrid Muscle ebook: Elliot and Mike basically explain their training philosophy. Their program is designed to combine the elements out of four types of training: cardiovascular, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and strongman. They also discuss nutrition, and the book ends with some sample routines (good stuff—planning to try some of them). You can also download this ebook as MP3’s and listen to it instead of reading it.
Coaching Email: You’ll get an email after you register with a link to the first week’s program. It includes a video with some coaching. You’ll keep getting emails each week with the week’s routine and coaching.
Strength Building 101 (video): Nice video teaching technique on the “Big 3” lifts (bench press, squat, and deadlift).
Home Gym Warrior (video): I really enjoyed this video—Elliot takes you through his warehouse gym and shows you how to build a gym on a tight budget.
Feminine Hybrid Physique: A training video for the ladies.
The Fat-Burning Muscle-Making Hormone Handbook: discusses some of the hormones involved with muscle-building and fat loss (insulin, testosterone, etc).
Renegade-Cardio: Describes how to do high intensity interval training.
There are actually more ebooks and videos I haven’t mentioned—I’m just giving you a few highlights (there’s even software bonus that they don’t even advertise).
MY THOUGHTS/REVIEW:
This program is put together really well. I think it would be an intense, interesting way to train. One thing that stands out is the weekly emails you get with the video for that phase.
I did
disagree with the author(s) on one thing: they recommended kre-alkalyn over creatine monohydrate. I personally don't think kre-alkalyn is a worthwhile supplement, so I would recommend you ignore that one bit of advice.
