Pacquiao used speed and angles to defeat what may be his strongest opponent yet. Pacquiao's strategy and execution were perfect--he didn't allow Cotto to trap him on the ropes or in corners. He scored two knockdowns against Cotto in the early rounds.
Pacquiao was clearly in control by the later rounds, purusing his opponent and attacking with relentless punches. The referee stopped the match in the 12th round.
This victory makes Pacquiao the new WBO welterweight champion!

Congrats to Pacquiao! May his 7th title win becomes a wake up call for the RP gov't. to design a stronger sports program for the youth. -WV
