I just ran across an awesome story. A high school basketball team intentionally missed two free throws to support a member of the opposing team. Johntel Franklin's mother passed away the day of the game, but he insisted his team play (they wanted to cancel the game). To everyone's surprise, he showed up at the game to support his team.
He was invited to join the game, but there was a problem: he wasn't on the pre-game roster, which made his participation a technical foul. The opposing team had no choice but to take the foul shots. They intentionally missed both of them.
